The Web’s Most Fantastic Collection of
Great Ideas
For Your Celebration!
Themes? Who needs them? That's what I thought when I wrote MitzvahChic. Now, a couple years later, you've shown me how much you love them and you've melted my stony heart.
Now I want to build for you the most wonderful collection of party ideas by theme and fill it with the most moving tzedakah ideas, the most clever high-style decorating designs, cool activities, and the party favors that will thrill your friends to pieces.
This section is a work in progress. We want it to grow and grow through your submissions. Make sure your photographer gets a glamor shot of everything at your party and send them in. If you love your vendor, make sure they know they can submit ideas too.
Enjoy yourself and shalom!

Themes Families Use Over and OverMany families - and especially kids - don't want to do a wall-to-wall meaningful theme and they return to these classic themes over and over. Anyone who wants a party that feels magical and unique, though, needs to know that magic comes from spirit not stuff. So be sure to add into your non-meaningful theme, meaningful elements like tzedakah that can elevate it from the ordinary. Look for the little photos that have beige frames around them - those are the tzedakah ideas.
Back To TopMitzvahChic Meaningful ThemesHere are themes from the book MitzvahChic and more. Our publisher won't allow us to show too many photos from the book, so we really need to see the meaningful ideas our families have come up with. And we know they're out there because we see you talking about them in the discussion forum. So, please send in your photos and tips. The world is not yet full of party planners with the experience and desire to create highly meaningful celebrations. Their clients have not been asking for that, so there isn't yet a lot of collected wisdom on the subject - by building this section, we can really make a difference!
Back To TopIdeas You Can Use With Any ThemeHere are Great Ideas that can be used with any theme. Don't miss the section on how to use photos in party decorations. And, the outrageously great bar/bat mitzvah survey of what kids like that was done by one of our moms.
